Fluoxetine usually starts working in 3-4 weeks, and full effect appears in 6-8 weeks. If after 6-8 weeks you feel no improvement, don’t stop it on your own. Just consult your psychiatrist for adjustment of the dose nor looking for an alternate option.take it regularly at the same time each day.
