Someone very close to me is struggling with BPD. We’ve consulted many doctors, but the medications haven’t helped. After starting treatment with one psychiatrist, she developed severe side effects, she can’t sleep, can’t function properly, and experiences sudden jolts/shocks. We’re really worried about her condition. Could you please refer us to a good psychiatrist who is experienced with BPD and medication management?

So sorry to hear of this. Your friend seems to be struggling quite a bit. May I ask, how do you know the patient is suffering from BPD? Can you share the list of medications she has been taking? and since when has she been on them? Did she recently leave her medicines all of a sudden? Is she currently going through a difficult patch in her life?
