Asking for Self, Male, 27 years old, Islamabad
I have severe brain tiredness, mental fatigue, brain fog, and a feeling of burnout almost all day. I can't concentrate, focus, learn new things, or remember things properly. My memory is very poor, and I feel mentally exhausted even without doing anything. I also have a heavy, tired, painful feeling mainly at the back of my head and scalp, sometimes with back pain. These symptoms occur together and affect my daily life. They happen around 20–25 days a month and get much worse in winter. I sleep 7–8 hours but still wake up tired. Exercise sometimes gives slight relief. This problem has lasted 6–8 years. I have tried different antidepressants without significant improvement.
What could be causing these symptoms, what tests or examinations do I need, and how can I find the right treatment?
Your symptoms sound exhausting, especially as they have persisted for years despite treatment. Brain fog, mental fatigue, headaches, and poor concentration can have psychological or physical causes. A detailed assessment can help identify possible contributing factors and guide the right treatment. I encourage you to book a consultation for a personalized evaluation and management plan. A medical examination may also be important to rule out underlying physical causes.
