i am currently taking effexor xr 375 mg for depression. i have ocd too. so my psychiatrist want to add fluvaxamine with my current medicine effexor xr for OCD. is it safe to combine these two.
if it is safe than upto how much dose of fluvaxamine is safe to with effexor xr 375 mg
no its not safe to combine SSRI with SNRI

i have taken mirtazepine with effexor but it didnt helped my ocd. is there any other option

well, how much dose you had of mirtazapine ?yes there are other options too like adding low dose antipsychotic or TcA ,PREGABALIN,or lamotrigine ....but my emphasis is again on psychological intervention, without the combo of drugs and psychological treatment there is less chance for treatment resistant OcD TO IMPROVE Alone with drugs....

you should better opt for Cognitive behaviour therapy for OCD along with your prescribed medicine. it is evidence based treatment and will help you alot in overcoming your Illness.
