Talk to Psychiatry on Depression
Asking for Father, Male, 45 years old, Karachi
We started noticing depression symptoms in my father. We took him to the psychologist and she referred us to psychiatrist for medicine for depression and anxiety. The psychiatrist prescribed zylexx 75 mg for depression and rivotril 0.5 for anxiety and rivotril 2 mg for sleep and the sleep tablets were not affecting him he couldn’t sleep for hours so the doctor changed it to Qusel 100 mg. The first time when he took after few hours he got very restless and he said his body hurts and couldn’t sleep. Can u guide me about why he can’t sleep and his restlessness
kindly take him to the psychiatrist if he is saying his body is hurting since qusel is an antipsychotic drug originally and sometimes produces rigidity in body which should be treated or review of medications to be considered
