kindly forward question only to psychiatrist not to homeopathic or psycholgist.I was a chronic major depression patient which was resistant after 3 years of treatment and its been 6 months i feel no more depression.I am afraid while taking antidepressant depression can come back as i read on internet.since i was treated my doctor prescibed lamictal to prevent relpase and i was ok on it but now feeling depression on it increased dose but not much benefit.Is there any specific antidepressant which is better to prevent relapse than others any body help me plzz.
Can understand.Lamictal is basically not an antidepressant I would strongly recommend you to consult a psychiatrist for evaluation
Pl consult specialist and have 3 monthly review even if your illness is stable .
consider your illness equivalent to any other chronic illness needing life long monitoring
i can undestand that you are passing through difficult times but For your knowledge and information Depression is an episodic disease it can happen time and again but i will strongly recomend to consult Your Psychiatrist so he can undestand the factors responsible for its relapse.

Isee koi baat nhi k antidepressant ki waja say apk masayal hai bal ki aksar mareezo mai depression antidepressant k sath teek hojata hai and your problem is genuine and have a solution.
