I have been on Fluexotine Since last 16 years and now I have started alprazolam at night as well due to prolonged tensions and depression and illness . I think so I can't survive without alprazolam now. How many years can I take it alprazolam because I know there will be a point when it will be all over as it does effect liver also ....

I suggest to first physical visit your nearest psychiatrist to review your diagnosis and treatment plan specially review medications. Your antidepressants needs to be reviewed in accordance your type and severity of illness and response to current medications. In addition there is need to adress your life situations/issues by counseling or a schedule psychotherapy. Long term anxiolytic (alprazolam) have dependency and habituation to dosage. This issue also need to be adress. You can online follow-up afterfirst mature physical visit.
