hi i was prescribed clomipril 75 mg for my OCD and then icreased after 6 days to 150 mg. know i am on week 3 and i have side effects like very upset stomach having indigestion and gas and burning stomach and also , dry mouth , . what should i do know ? should i have to wait more days for the side effects to go away or not ?
Welcome, medication is good and recommend for OCD and even dose is good but this drug is from old antidepressant family has these side decoys like dryness constipation, I do not want to be judgmental because your treating doctor know better for you, you have to tell your doctor about these effects he would deal with better or may think to change to new antidepressant medications like SSRIs. Thanks
Welcome, it would be better if you visit your psychiatrist who has prescribed, as he must know your compliance to given medicine, dosage and drug seems to be promising for OCD.
