My brother in law is found to be a drug addict, we don't know since when he is using drugs but recently it is revealed to us. We don't know what kind of drugs are they but it's look like he is using powder and sometimes he is sniffing something,, he is loosing his weight,, day before yesterday he was vomiting blood, 1 year back we thought he is just a psychological case because he went to Dubai but he didn't succeed then he came back and went to Saudia to get a job or work but again he didn't succeed and his sponser ran away and didn't pay him a single penny,, his parents are also verbally abusing him because he was the cause of loosing money on both trips which they loaned from relatives,, I think this kind of behavior of parents and relatives led him to take drugs,, Kindly help us in this matter,,

He definitely has stressors which has led him to this habbit of taking drugs . But drug taking habit doesn’t go on it’s own . We usually admit a patient for treating his this habit . You should bring ur brother for consultation to the hospital . He should remain admitted for atleast 10days . Only then he will be able to quit drugs n later we will treat his depression in a healthier way by medication .
He need proper assessment investigations including blood invesitgations and if motivated to quit his addiction that will need admission in a psychiatric facility

Dr. Fatima Mam, kindly tell us in which hospital you are performing your duties,, also kindly tell us the round about cost of medicines, fees, blood tests for 10 days admission in the hospital,, as we r not citizen of Lahore and we r coming from a rural area, therefore we have to manage every thing before we visit to Lahore,,
