Talk to Psychiatry on GAD, Panic Attacks

Dear All,
I have been using Cipralex(escitalopram) for anxiety, panic attacks , insurtive thoughts from last 12 years. only side effect I have developed is loss of ejaculatory sensation. so what can be done for that. I have tried added Wellbutrin, Also switched to vortioxetine but anxiety symptoms came back so had to revert back to cipralax. Please guide if adding buspar would be good option or switching to buspar .

Hi why don’t you try leaving it gradually? I am sorry to hear about the situation that caused you using it that long. Did you try to discuss it with the professional who is treating you with this? Any medication used in the long run does have side effects.
All psychotropic are associated with some sort of sexual side effects ranging from erection issues to ejaculatory problems.It looks like you are on Escitalopram for a good time now. If the symptoms are still a issue it mean we need to look into alternative.Is it something else that is bothering you.Now if you feel that it is distressing issue and I am sure it is,first we need to check a complete physical health first.Other option can also be discussed
