Is it safe to take prothadein 25mg for improving concentration, energy and reducing exam anxiety ?? i cant concentrate and as the exam day is nearing my frustration is increasing and i cannot study. My fatigue is increasing day by day. i have exam on 23rd june. this exam comes after a year so stakes are high. I have history of psychiatric problems. Previously i was on paraxyl 25 mg for 15 months till Jan2017. I plan to visit psychiatrist for permanent solution of my problems but after my exam to avoid any side effects before that. Can i take 25mg prothadein till then ???
See medication has no side effects related to exam, it should be clear that for what are you concern for? Exam, your treatment of you underlying psychiatric issue or medication side effects, yes every medicine has side effect this should not be the barrier in treatment, do not self medicate or harm yourself rather consult as soon as possible for proper treatment thanks
Prothiaden is not ideal drug for this purpose. You need to visit a psychiatrist who will prescribe taking care of your exams

but i just need medicine for reducing anxiety so that my concentration improves. i will get proper treatment for my social anxiety, stress related fatigue, muscle weaknesses and confidence issues.

you are already prescribed antidepressant medication which is prothiaden 25mg which antidepressant and antianxiety medication but dose not sufficient for which you should consult your doctor to build up the dose or switch to previous medicine on which your concentration was good, issue is not only the concentration, the issue is that you need proper assessment and proper treatment thanks

Till 23rd June my priority is exam..to perform at my best and after that i will visit psychiatrist for sure as its already recommended by other doctors. till that time all i need is some anti anxiety or antidepressant which reduces my stress and increases my concentration. I remember my concentration was really good when i was on paraxyl but it has dropped and it has dropped significantly due to exam anxiety.
