I have anxeity issues. My dr has prescribed me zoloft 50mg once a day first week then teice a day from second week. I want to ask weight gain is a side effect of zoloft if yes then how can i avoid gain weight as i am fat already
U can excercise , avoid fatty foods, walk for 20 minutes. Monitor ur weight on monthly basis. Not everyone experiences all the side esffects mentioned in the leaflet of any drug that u use. waitf watching is the best way to keep it in control.
Agreed with dr irsa,however you need to monitor your weight on regular basis. Moreover consult your doctor if dose can be lowered
