Talk to Psychiatry on Medicine Timing Confusion

person-avatar

Asking for Self, Female, 31 years old, Karachi

I am taking brintillex 10mg for anxiety/depression. Started it 2 weeks ago from 2.5 mg and took it to 10mg 4 days ago. My psychiatrist suggested that I take it at sehri time because I was taking it in the morning before Ramadan but because I missed my first sehri I decided to take it at iftar from now onwards so there are no chances of missing it in case I sleep during sehri. I took it at 7 at iftar but I am feeling a little restless since morning and my sleep was also light. I have two concerns regarding taking it at iftar. 1) does the medicine wear off the next day if I take it at iftar? 2) will taking it at night give me sleep problems ?
