Common in people with autism. If there are other symptoms like if she is more agitated , confused having stiff muscles or fever then consult your psychiatrist urgently. Otherwise keep observing . This is a common side effect of quetiapine and often improves with time and dose adjustment. Get B12, magnesium and iron lvls assessed. Do not stop medicine on your own

It is common with quetiapine early in the treatment. It will go away in -2 wks as body gets adjusted. If the symptom persists then consult your psychiatrist for an alternative med.

Divide the tablet into 2 halves . Give half at night n half in morning. If problem still persists then only 1/2 at night. If she is autistic then may need less dose .Side effects will reduce

25 mg kee tablet ko half karain aur 12.5 mg / day at night time dain. After few days once side effects settled , if problem is not responding then give 12.5 mg in morning and 12.5 mg at night. Always take medicine after eating something and drink 8 glasses of water daily . Still not settled then change medicine after detailed consultation with a psychiatrist
