Medicines are for temporary relief. If you want or desire long term relief then consider psychotherapy also. And you need psychotherapy on an urgent base otherwise your condition will become severe.

Dont stop yourself . Discuss with your doctor who will decide when to start gradual reduction as sudden stopping can bring the illness back.

It's a good news that after 2.5 months of recieving treatment, you are feeling better. You must have remained quite complaint to meducations. Shabash. You must know one important thing that all these medicines that you are taking are directly affecting your brain neurochemicals. It takes 6 to 9 months to treat and tapper off the medications if everything is going well. So, it is too early for you to stop your medication. You have been very wise to inquire about it instead of just stopping your medicines suddenly by yourself. In that case there could have been an aggressive relapse and you could have suffered heavily. So, refer to the psychiatrist who started your treatment and let him guide you through it. Remain in his follow-up and in sha Allah, soon you will be off medications under good supervision. Wish you good health.

Since you had severe anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts,it is not advisable to stop medicines on your own,Even if you feel stable now, treatment is usually continued for 6 to 9 months after full recovery to prevent relapse. Stopping suddenly can worsen symptoms. Please continue medicines and consult your psychiatrist for a gradual, supervised taper when appropriate. Help is available .
