Aoa. I was prescribed Mitaz 15 mg (half tablet) for nausea. It's been a week, and since starting it I've had leg pain, excessive sleepiness, and very low energy. I didn't have these symptoms before. What should I do? I still have a week left until my next consultation. And I am struggling with my daily activities. Doctor is not replying to my msgs.
Leg pain, excessive sleepiness, and marked low energy can occur after starting mirtazapine and may represent medication side effects, especially if these symptoms were not present beforehand. As these symptoms are significantly affecting your daily activities, please contact your prescribing doctor as soon as possible rather than waiting for your scheduled review, as your treatment may need adjustment. Do not stop the medication abruptly unless advised by your doctor. If you develop severe muscle pain, swelling, weakness, fever, difficulty breathing, or become difficult to wake, seek urgent medical attention immediately. Help is available.
