Asking for Sister, Female, 27 years old, Lahore
My sister had a heavy workload from university, due to which she wasn’t sleeping well. She had a panic attack last night where her heartbeat stayed around 140–150, and she was out of her mind, saying things like “What is happening?”. We took her to the General hospital, where she was given Polypep and Flexin.
This morning, when she woke up, she couldn’t talk properly. She had memory issues and slow processing when asked simple questions, such as about her best friend. She often says, “What is happening?”. She also held the back of her head strongly two or three times, feeling overwhelmed. She is speaking in a childish way when we ask questions.
She also complained of smelling an odour when nothing was present; this occurred on two separate occasions.
As today is Sunday, specialist neurologists/psychiatrists are unavailable. She was unable to sleep. After taking bromazepam, she slept for only about 30 minutes and is now awake again.

The smell of odour with nothing around … is a very important symptom to indicate good assessment in person by a neurologist. Once clear from neurologist then consider psychiatrist. It needs full in person assessment
