aoa sir i m a patient of severe ocd and m suffering from 6 years... m v stressed with this problem my husband is now irritating with my illness and every time v fight each other my house atmosphere is v stressful bcc of my illness kids are not feeling comfortable bcz of us and kids are also involving in my off problem plz help me m already taking medicines m taking treatment from dr shakoor by m not satisfied if any dr help me plz tell me m ready to visit and also ready for the treatment i only need to get rid of this ocd problem plz suggest me a good dr i shall b very thankful to u

OCD is a debilitating condition and at times it may not fully respond to medications or dosages of medications need to be increased or revised. I think you should see your Psychiatrist for reviewing the prescription as well as regularly getting psychotherapy from a clinical psychologist can a be a lot helpful. Psychotherapies like Exposure and Response Prevention or Cognitive Therapy have proven efficacy in OCD.
you are not only suffering from OCD but conflicts also and this is the major reinforce of any disease which might have cause depression in you, you need second opinion for treatment review and the sole treatment of the OCD is counselling, but before that you need support form your family specially your husband which is lacking, if support system is good then there are good chances of good compliance of the patient and good response clinically
i would recommend visit as soon as possible

I would like to clarify that there are no different type of psychiatrist, but there are subspecialities in psychiatrist too, taking aside this matter I I mean to to say any other psychiatrist, you can visit me if possible
