Salam. I have been dealing with Ocd intrusive thoughts from 9 years. I dont know how to cure it. my ocd was diagnosed by psychatrist naeem aftab. he prescribed me faverin. I am currently taking 25 mg half tablet. please tell me how to upgrade my dose? which dose should I take. This dose is not helping me

Faverin or fluvoxamine is a good medicine and used to treat OCD but increased doses are needed and after every dose increment response has to be evaluated and also side effects if occur are dealt with.
We can upto 10 times of the current dose but again I suggest get some supervision from the doctor.
Minimum effective dose of faverin is 50mg and it can be increased to up to
300mg under supervision from a psychiatrist. I will advice you to visit me
as I have a special interest in treatment of this disorder.
walaikumasalam. it is very low dose. build it to 50mg once a day for 15 days then 100mg once daily. dont miss any dose anyday. u ll be well inshaAllah in a month but even then dont lower dose on ur own
