hi i got diagnosed with OCD which i had from childhood. i got prescribed clomiprimine 150 mg . i am taking it from 2 weaks and now 1 week ago my ocd became worse than ever. is this be due to clomiprimine and should it be better to continue taking it.

Welcome, it is not possible that OCD get worse with clomipramine, it may be possible that xlomiprmaine is not working and OCD itself is getting worse, better to take an expert openion for re-evaluation. Thanks

It takes sometime for medication to work .Initially worsening of symptoms can happen due to anxiety that happens in the beginning phase of medication intake.150 mg is a nearly good enough dose but if started on this dose without slow titration can sometimes lead to side effects.
