it can manifest in a wide range of symptoms. feeling low energy, low mood, weeping episodes, sleep disturbances. some times negative thoughts towards self and baby can be there. when depression gets more severe, some patients have ideas of harming self or the baby. these symptoms appear after recent childbirth.
some times there is restlessness and over activity.
