Asking For Self, Female 25, Islamabad

send question to been a month now i am on 50mg lamictal feeling heavy head, confusion,memory issue, disturbed thinking abilities sleepiness i am bipolar 2 almost one year back i took it for one and half year felt neither a single symptom i discussed earlier nor any other i quit it for few months restarted after consulting psychiatrst. what's the reason i am feeling these its been whole month now. what should you suggest.

I think you are on a sub therapeutic dose and it should be titrated for an optimal response.One option is to connect back to your psychiatrist and speak to them about the current situation and discuss about medication.The most important thing is to be on maintenance dose for a good period of time and as you said sleepiness,confusion and disturbance in thinking process,you should discuss them in detail.Hope that helps.

Aoa it’s an issue with lamictal with some patients .. lower the dose to half and increase gradually … in case u don’t feel better please contact at MH rwp through Marham
