Assalam o Alaikum I have been an anxiety patient for 1 year. About 1 month ago, I visited a psychiatrist who prescribed me therapy and medication:
Famot 20 mg – 1 tablet in the morning
Zaline 50 mg – ½ tablet in the morning and 1 tablet at night
Stemetil 5 mg – 1 tablet in the morning and 1 tablet at night
Ziapine 25 mg – 1 tablet at night
The doctor told me to come back after one month.
Three days ago, I went for my follow-up appointment (as one month had passed). The doctor stopped the other medicines and prescribed:
Zaline 50 mg – 1 tablet in the morning and 1 tablet at night
Profy 10 mg – ½ tablet at night
Since then (for the past 3 days), I have not been feeling well. I have nausea, severe headache, body weakness, body pain, and fatigue. I also have no motivation to do any work. Could you please tell me what might be causing this?

Whenever dose of antidepressants is increased, in your case, Zaline ( Sertraline) which is a serotonergic antidepressant, it causes worsening of anxiety symptoms for a few days but they get better on their own, don’t worry. However, if they persist and you feel restlessness in your legs and constant urge to move them it might be due to Profy ( Aripiprazole). It’s called Akathisisa and it can cause it in some patients. In that case, please consult your psychiatrist, he/she might review it after asking further questions and if needed, might substitute it with another salt
