withdrawal symptoms will occur if I suddenly stop the medication there are tappering of dose of medicines to avoid it's withdrawal effect n dependency
she is taking 2 psychoactive substances and both have their withdrawal effects. She requires admission in psychiatry ward for detoxification of withdrawal symptoms that appear while tapering down these two psychoactive substances. After detoxification her mood will be assessed and managed with medicines. For abstinence she might require certain psychotherapies and regular use of prescribed medicines and follow up in psychiatry OPD. Dealing this situation at home is extremely difficult as patient may take leverage over family and easy drug availability and inability to cope with physical withdrawal symptoms.
