Concentration Problem

Please hide my identity if you are posting it on Facebook. My son is 9 years old and is reading in class 3. He is having lack of concentration issue. He cannot learn his lessons by heart and if he is able to do so he forgot it in next few hours. However sometimes he learned all his assignment very quickly. We are very much worried due to his condition. I don't know either it is physiological issue or can be treated through medicine. Please help.

Its a very common problem among children these days. However the good news is that it's quite treatable. You should consult a psychiatrist for medications management and see a psychologist for psychotherapy. If you are in Rawalpindi or can come over, please feel free to visit my office (GMS Mental Health Clinic- 042-32591427, 042-32591427, -36)

May be he is suffering from ADHD or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, is a medical condition that affects how well someone can sit still, focus, and pay attention. People with ADHD have differences in the parts of their brains that control attention and activity. This means that they may have trouble focusing on some tasks and subjects.

Lack of motivation or boredom with school isn't to blame for squirming by children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Symptoms such as fidgeting, foot-tapping and chair-swiveling are triggered by cognitively demanding tasks - like school and homework. But movies and video games don't typically require brain strain, so the excessive movement doesn't manifest.

How's this for exasperating!! Your ADHD child fidgets and squirms his way through school and homework, but seems laser-focused and motionless sitting in front of the TV watching an action thriller.

No thanks we must avail regular chit—chats with additional options & re—engineer passion, intimacy, commitment & knowledge.

However, whenever, wherever & for forever you are awesome to contact for any assistance as we teach people what we most need to learn as “we live and learn @ any rate, we live; we live in an age where we’re drowning in information and starving for wisdom”.

Professionally & Natively yours,
