I want to ask my father faced severe depression in 2012 and it's symptoms are again obvious now including, anxiety, restlessness, disappointments and despair. I want you to guide me what to do. Walaikum salam. How was depression managed back in 2012? Was it medication by a psychiatrist or Therapy/Counselling worked for him?
We face different challenges with age, and the coping strategies may be different, too.
I would advise you to take him to the Psychologist for Counselling. I hope his perspective towards life will change to positive.
