Asking For Brother, Male 28, Islamabad
Salams Dr sb, My brother is 28 years old. He has not completed his studies or done anything positive in his life after his FSc. He joined 3-4 university programs in the past but somehow leaves them in the middle and when one inquires about them he just becomes angry. He stays up the whole night watching Netflix and wakes at 2pm everyday. His friends keep on changing after a few years, as his old friends move on so he makes new ones for timepass. He has extreme anger issues. For example, he will be perfectly ok one minute and we'll be talking about something and then while talking he'll just switch the topic and start talking about the past and start blaming my parents for all the things that have gone wrong in his life(him not studying etc etc) and abusing them and shouting at them. Then after 10-15 mins of all this blame game he'll start crying while continuing with the abuses and shouting. If his brother steps in, he'll start fighting with him even progressing towards fist fights. It

Okay. It seems like your brother may be suffering from personality problems. Other than that, he lacked self-esteem and self-confidence because of which, he's not able to take life decisions and can not even take responsibilities of his decisions. In this condition, person shows anger as well but he may be sad, or frustrated as well. According to my suggestion, kindly bring him to Psychologist, so that his problems may get resolved soon. The difficult part is to convince him. If he hears the word "psychiatrist" or "psychologist", he will hit the roof. He will become so aggressive that I can't even imagine. How should I convince him?

show him advantage and disadvantages of that and guide him ur self if he listen to any body in family or frends tell him ir her that to guide him and show him path
the diagnosis of this case is not clear. i would like to talk to your brother to explore his issues in detail. so that he gets the correct treatment. either someone close to him needs to educate him that he needs to consult a psychologist to manage things better. there might be someone whom he listens to. he needs to be educated how anger has poor consequences and he needs to explore himself why he needs a doctor.

Diaphramic deep breathing twice a day
Take proper sleep: search sleep hygiene tips on Internet
Drink plenty of water
Sit in garden and have a cup of coffe/tea while looking at the flowers and birds and feeling the warmth of air.
