I recently consulted a psychiatrist here, and I felt pretty I am taking medicine. But today something happened I felt depressed all of a sudden kept on crying cried for half an hour and couldn't stop I tried to calm down and then couldn't I wanted to text the psychiatrist and ask for the counselor that he was going to recommend, but a friend said it is just some overweight, normal depression. Still, I kept feeling depressed, then I don't know how, and when I brought a knife and matchstick, there was a constant voice in my head saying and telling me to kill myself. I tried to fight it and started burning my arm, and then my dad came in the room. He did not see the knife but understood what I was doing, and now he is very tensed. Do I need therapy in addition to a psychiatrist?
