My mother got diagnosed with ILD and hrct report said uip pattern she was taking pirfenox medicine but not feeling that much then we go to good doctor he prescribed amorin tablet containing azathioprine some autoimmune test like ANA ,ENA,cbc,Ra factor etc all are negative I'll attach reports aswell but again he prescribed amorin I actually want to know that autoimmune test are negative so why amorin prescribed again bcz it is used to treat autoimmune ILD also on hrct report it was written uip pattern but doctor write ILD with non uip after seeing tests also my nano has lung contraction type of disease aswell

I am actually curious that hrct says ILD most likely UIP but doctor wrote ILD with non UIP
What's the reason?

HRCT report mentions ground glass which usually is not a feature of UIP maybe that is a reason the pulmonologist has said that it's not UIP. further comments can be given by looking at the HRCT films or video
