Talk to Dermatologist on Acne And Peeling Skin

I recently got married two months ago. Due to hormonal changes, I have developed acne on my cheeks, chin, forehead, and nose—not all over but on some spots, and it is more than usual, which worries me. My husband bought me an anti‑acne face wash and a cream called Novaderm. I applied the cream at night, and when I woke up the areas where I applied it started peeling and red marks appeared. Now, even when I apply moisturizer or even touch the skin, it irritates, keeps peeling, and turns red. Please suggest what I should apply.
