General Physician in Okara - Dr. Hafiz Ali Sarwar

Your cholesterol (219) and triglycerides (153) are only slightly above ideal and have actually improved since September, which is a good sign, so this is not dangerous and you don’t need medication right now. It is basically your body giving you a small warning to take a bit better care of diet and activity. Try to cut down fried foods, bakery items, sweets, ghee, butter and heavy oily meals, eat more simple home food like roti, dal, sabzi, eggs, fruit, yogurt, grilled chicken or fish, keep oil to about 2 teaspoons a day, walk or do some cardio for 30–40 minutes at least 5 days a week, sleep properly, and then repeat a full lipid profile in about 3 months, because for most people at your age this is enough to bring the numbers back into the normal range and nothing more is needed.
