Talk to Neuro Physician on Chronic Body Pain, Specific (Legs And Lower Back)

person-avatar

Asking For Mother, Female 53, Khurrianwala, Faisalabad

My mother has been experiencing severe body pain for some time. The pain is mainly in her legs and lower back. At times, her legs also become numb or feel asleep.

She has been using the following medicines continuously for a long period: Tenoril Dicloran Rapicort She has a history of stroke. Rapicort was started after that, but she is now unable to stop taking it because she feels very uncomfortable without it. Her blood pressure often goes high and has reached levels around 150 to 180 in the past.

We are concerned that her current symptoms may be related to long term medicine use or another underlying condition. We would appreciate your guidance on possible causes and what steps should be taken next.

Thank you for your time and support.
