Talk to General Surgeon on Right Side Of Abdomen Hernia Surgery..
Asking For Mother, Female 59, Sindh
My mother had a stone in right kidney so she had surgery in 2017 . After that surgery she had a hernia in that surgery area. In Oct 2025 She again had the surgery of Hernia. But she continuously feels moderate/normal pain not on the whole surgery area but just on the side of the abdomen. We have done Ultrasound and everything was fine. We Also went to the same Dr who did the surgery and he gave us a tablet for pain. Now I want to ask why she is still feeling pain ? Please somebody tell. jazzakllah.

Nerve entrapment or scarring. If there is no recurrence of hernia, you can consult an anaesthetic pain specialist, for local anaesthetic, steroid injections

sir what is the reason for the nerve damage or entrapment? Although the ultrasound was fine. Sir is there any danger? or it can be cured ?

Nerve is damaged during surgery or entrapped in the scar. Cannot be detected on USG. Usually improves by local injection of nerve block.

Once normally anatomy disturbed never skin become same as we think so...
If ultrasonic is ok n u taken many medication n no relief found then go ahead for CT scan with contrast .
And some blood reports
CBC +ESR
Serum urea
Serum creatinine
Vitamin d
Till take symptomatic treatment
Take tab dicloran 50mg if don't have gartro issue .
