Talk to Rheumatologist on SLE And Arthritis

person-avatar

Asking For Someone else, Mother, Female, 43 Years old, larkana

Okay, so like two-three years ago my mother was diagnosed with SLE and arthritis and currently she is 43 years old and doctor suggested her to take HCQ-200 tablets twice a day, but recently she’ve been inconsistent with them like sometimes she take two times/day, sometimes take one in a day so this time the reports for ESR test are a bit like high or above the normal range so what should she do? Should she increase the consumption of tablets or what should she do any suggestions?

before increasing the dose get her checked by the rheumatologist for clinical assessment. may be treatment needs to be escalated. secondly need to have other tests as well that are required in SLE patient.

I think she should be seen by rheumatologist and then follow the advise.
