The chest X-ray showing cardiogenic pulmonary edema and small pleural effusion was performed during the period when the patient experienced generalized tonic-clonic seizures. Approximately one month later, the patient underwent an echocardiogram and treadmill stress test, which were reported as overall normal/negative. However, the echo did mention mild hypertrophy, so we wanted clarification on whether this finding may still be clinically significant despite the other reassuring results, and whether the pulmonary edema episode could have been temporary/reversible or related to transient fluid overload, stress response, or hypertension.
if Echocardiography is normal then it should be all transient
We need to consider his Blood pressure for the last couple of months prior to this echo as a cause of his LVH . Insults like fits or even emotional trauma can sometimes throw the heart into a state of into a state of temporary hypo function which later on recovers.
