Talk to Neuro Physician on Trauma And Brain Related
Asking for Other, Female, 51 years old, Faisalabad
she is having daily trauma attacks that start with her heart sinking and eyes feeling stretched. These are followed by involuntary head shaking and severe jaw clenching. It only happens when she lies down. They last 30-60mins. On top of that, she is developing involuntary facial contractions, including an upside-down smile and pouting. There is numbness and pain on the left side of her head and shoulders with swelling on the right side of the face. Psychiatrist gave xepex, naze and kempro followed by lomogin for involuntary shaking movements/ jerks but they still haven’t resolved. Was wondering if it could be something brain related.

I am not sure what you mean by trauma attacks. Probably you mean panic attacks some of these abnormal movements are known as facial dyskinesia and might have been caused by psychiatric medication. You need to consult through Marham
