General Physician in Lahore - Dr. Talhah Javaid

Salam, I see you are going through Distressing symptoms. I understand not getting adequate health care at right time can cause frustration. For your health I would recommend choose a GP for long term health care. You have a complicated history that indicate that its not just that you are not trying hard enough, there might be some probable organic cause that needs to be investigated satisfactorily. As far your Provisional diagnosis of over-reactive bladder is concerned, I think it would be a very good idea to broaden the scope of diagnosis, include all of your symptoms and then reach at diagnosis. Please note that being over-weight and lifting heavy weight is a significant risk factor for Pelvic Floor trauma and leading to urinary symptoms you are describing. Your underlying problem is tied to your metabolic and other symptoms you are experiencing not precisely the bladder, Treating the underlying cause might actually help you with good weight control outcomes and improve your symptoms, including bladder symptoms perhaps. And will increase quality of your life substantially. However in mean time it is highly recommended that you dont lift weight, We have entire set of exercises for this precise problem. Please note that sticking to one practice/practitioner in your case will be best for you. It comes under longitudinal care, There is no concept of gp in pakistan, But please request a practice or your GP to make you a long term health care plan. I think Detailed checkup, basic labs and some labs with inquiry into your endocrine system would be very beneficial in creating a plan that would be beneficial to you. I wish you best of health. Hope my message helps, Regards

It is actually the upper body and core exercises that put the strain on your pelvic floor most though lower body weight lifting contribute significantly too, Anything that makes your strain, increase intra-Abdominal pressure. GP / Family physician would be best suited in your case, they play a vital role in making an initial diagnosis and then guiding you through your medical journey a systemic step by step approach is recommended for the best health care outcomes.
