I have had anal fissure in the past due to constipation and passing hard stool. I don't have constant constipation but whenever I pass a hard stool I develop an anal fissure (happens once in a year). I can also notice an anal skin tag which is asymptomatic. Recently I again had an anal fissure after a few days of passing a hard stool. It pains too much and the anal skin tag seems irritated and bigger than it was before. there are no signs of hemorrhoids, no bleeding or pain otherwise than anal fissure. I am overweight and I also have PCOS. I have never taken any medicine for anal fissure in the past, it usually heals within a week. sometimes I feel a little burning around my anus.
This is not included in the urologist territory. It should be treated by a good general surgeon. i would recommend dr Salman Majeed Chaudhary in surgimed hospital
It is possible for the Anal fissure to recur again and again. If you currently have Anal fissure then you can wait a week for it to resolve like it does before. you should also try to avoid constipation by good water intake, ispaghol husk with yogurt and Syp Duphalac 25cc at night.
You should get examined by a General Surgeon to see any other pathology associated with Anal Fissure.
avoid constipation by taking laxatives( syp Laxoberon , ispaghul husk etc) ,pyodine sitz bath and GTN 0.2% ointment (apply on fissure area ) should also be applied with xylocaine gel but it should be good to be properly examined by general surgeon for better outcomes thanks
