Hello I have a question is there time limit for urine to get tested ? I mean if urine is stored in a bottle and kept for 3 days and after 3 days the nurse starts to examine the urine sample for Cultural test and R/E C/S test then is that okay? Wont the infection germs die in the mean time of those 3 waiting days?

its better to get early morning sample for urine DR and culture.
For C/S early morning mid stream urine should be taken in a sterilized container and the test should be done as early as possible. Not three days, the report will not be reliable
