Mixel Capsule uses include treating respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, ear infections, throat infections, and sexually transmitted infections like gonorrhea. It is only effective against bacterial infections and will not work for viral infections like cold or flu.

1 capsule, once daily, or 1 capsule (200mg) every 12 hours.
The dose for children is 8mg/kg/day as a single dose or divided every 12 hours. The maximum daily dose is 400mg. Your doctor will calculate the right amount based on body weight.
How to Take:
Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.
Do not open, crush, or chew the capsule.
It can be taken with or without food.
Complete the full course of treatment even if you feel better.
For strep throat, take for at least 10 days.
Don't use Mixel Capsule if you:
Are allergic to Cefixime or other cephalosporin antibiotics
