Overbite is the type of malocclusions, that means your top front teeth extend beyond your bottom front teeth. Some people have very slight overbite. But the severe over-bite may lead to gum disease, tooth decay and jaw pain. 

Symptoms of Over-Developed Jaw

The symptoms of having an over-bite are;

• Appearance like your top front teeth overlap past your bottom front teeth.
• Difficulty fully opening or closing the mouth.
• Discomfort while eating.
• Jaw pain.
• Speech challenges.

Causes of Over-Developed Jaw

The causes of overbite are;

• Genetics
• Too less space for teeth
• Small jaws
• Problems with the size of teeth
• Thumb sucking and overuse of pacifier in  younger age

Treatment

The treatments for over-bite are;
