Talk to Endocrinologist on Unexplained Neck Swelling And Trouble Breathing – Should I Get Thyroid Tests?

For a few months, I've had swelling in my neck and face, along with weight gain. Sometimes it gets so bad I have trouble swallowing, breathing, and moving my neck.
What's happened so far:
· An ENT doctor gave me antibiotics, which helped for a while. · During bad episodes, cough syrup seemed to help control it. · The ENT did an ultrasound of my neck, which was normal. · However, they have not done any tests to check my thyroid gland.
My main question is: Could this be a thyroid problem, and should I get tested for it?

From upwards to downwards of neck , neck left side seems ok but right side downwards when you see properly there is a swallowing. Second thing is I don't eat meals most of the time but I gained weight day by day. I avoid most spicy things , savoury but still whenever I eat I can't even properly move my neck. They have done an ultrasound but not a thyroid test maybe it was helpful for satisfaction and as well ensuring whether there is an issue or not.

If someone have thyroid they should to other tests to know any autoimmune factor or inflammation. I am dealing with thyroid patients that's why i know what's needed. I informed you so you will not have to go again and again for blood tests. Your problem will be treated with medicines.
