Talk to Ent Specialist on Chronic Rhinosinusitis With Sinonasal Polyp – Surgery Vs. Medication Advice Needed

Hello Doctors,

I have been struggling with a chronic sinus-related health issue for the past 7–8 months. Initially, it started as persistent flu, gradually becoming severe headaches. Despite multiple courses of medication, my symptoms keep returning.

Symptoms:

Severe pain and swelling on the right side of the head, cheekbone, nose, upper eyelid, and above the eyebrows

Recurrent flu, fever, and postnasal drip

Episodes of dizziness, unconsciousness, and mild head jerks

The intensity of pain is affecting my daily life

CT Scan (12-Aug-2025, Chughtai Lab):

Chronic right-sided rhinosinusitis with complete opacification of the right maxillary sinus, anterior and middle ethmoid air cells, and right frontal sinus

Bony remodelling of the right maxillary and frontal sinus walls

Right maxillary sinonasal polyp

Deviated nasal septum (DNS) to the right

Left concha bullosa
