Asking for Other, Female, 8 years old, Karachi

"I am bringing in an 8-year-old boy who currently feels no pain and has no fever or weakness; he is acting completely normal and active. However, we have noticed a visible white substance draining from his right ear, and there is an incredibly strong, foul odor coming from the ear that we can actually smell from a distance. We haven't put any drops or liquids into the ear, and we haven't stuck anything inside to clean it

Please don’t use any medication without proper ear examination. He seems to be having ear infection and the status of his ear drum needs to be assessed.

Update: I have just consulted Dr. Atif Hafeez. He examined my daughter and said that there is a hole (perforation) in her eardrum. He took an ear swab sample and advised a C/S test, although I am not sure what exactly that test is for. He has prescribed Zeprocaine ear drops and Septean DS syrup.
Can anyone please tell me whether this is a serious issue or something that can be treated easily?
