Asking For Self, Male 25, Hyderabad
Hello Doctor, I am a 25-year-old male experiencing persistent redness at the back of my throat with visible small blood vessels. It appears irritated, but I do not currently see thick white pus or significantly swollen tonsils. About 6–8 months ago, I noticed small white patches in my throat that did not fully resolve, and since then the throat has intermittently looked red and mildly inflamed. I do not have fever or severe pain while swallowing, though I sometimes experience mild irritation or dryness. I would like to know whether this could be chronic pharyngitis, post-nasal drip, acid reflux, or another condition, and whether any tests or treatment are recommended. Thank you.
