Asking For Brother, Female 25, Lahore

My sister has Non cirrohtic portal hypertension since childhood. Five years ago, she has gone through EVBL 2 times during her first episode of blood vommiting. after that she is fine. my question is that will this disease will remain in control or it will surely increase by time, here ultrasound reports says about large spleen ,portal hypertension bilirubin is 2

To answer your question in one sentence:
The disease progresses slowly over time and does not remain static.

How fast it progresses depends on what’s the underlying cause of non cirrhotic portal hypertension. This requires testing which may have been done already.
I’m sure she is seen regularly by a liver doctor who’s Incharge of her medical care. These patients may progress slowly but can end up requiring a transplant decades later so require close follow up to monitor progress.
I’m sure she is already getting this.
Can look into seeing a liver doc at PKLI if needed. It’s close enough.
