Talk to Gastroenterologist on Stomach Heaviness

My mother has CKD stage 4 and is on regular hemodialysis. She has a history of high blood pressure and anemia and receives EPO during dialysis. Her calcium and phosphorus levels have also been high, with elevated PTH.

Her current issue is abdominal heaviness/fullness and tightness, mainly after eating. Her abdomen feels hard/tight after meals. This has been happening for quite some time. She still feels hungry between meals and passes stool once a day.

There is no noticeable abdominal swelling or recent weight gain.

We would like to know what could be causing this and whether she needs any tests, such as an abdominal ultrasound or other GI investigations.
