My Niece has severe vitamin d deficiency, a doctor in our town has prescribed her 3 doses of 2 lac IU of Vitamin D3, each after 5 days intervals, one has dose has already been given, so my question is it safe to give 2 years old child such a high dose?! her Vitamin d levels were at extremely low levels at around 3 reports are attached, advise from pediatricians are needed.
It should be less to prevent Vit D toxicity.
Give this injection after 2 weeks. start calcium supplement as well like osam d
