Brother there are various factors which can contribute to low amniotic fluid in pregnancy, including "water breaking". Its like a placenta peeling away from the inner wall of the uterus , either partially or completely , before delivery which is commonly called placental abruption.
Certain health conditions in the mother, such as chronic high blood pressure, stress, dehydration, heavy work load or lifting can be the reason of this.
You need to hydrate her well, good water intake per day, strict bed rest and no weight lifting and she need some supplements which a gynaecologist can prescribe you better brother.
