Asking For Someone else, Father, Male, 47 Years old, Lahore
1 month back corona was tested negative after severe corona attack he was hospitalised and on oxygen for several days.Now he is taking these medicines i m attaching files but deltacotril 5 mg for 14 days is completed but after that My father is having swelling on face,vertigo,high bp,anxiety he is now only taking pirfenidone med 200 mg.please suggest what should we do he still have problem speaking and breathing.
it happens taking steroids he will be allrght
Hello, how are you? Please know he is suffering from 'steriod moon face'. While the swelling in legs requires diuretic treatment. Kindly reach out for consultation.
Hi.these symptoms occurs because of steroids and could be due to hypotension (low bp). please keep checking her blood pressure and after gradually stopping steroids (tapering off)she will feel better.
